    "I have now brought my car in 3 times to be checked out, once for an actual service appointment, and twice for a ride along to indicate where my dashboard rattles and vibrations are occurring. During both road tests the dashboard rattles were confirmed by the techs and I was told the sound was abnormal and should most definitely be repaired. At the time of service, I was told the rattles were located, but they were normal, and nothing could be done to fix them at this time. It's extremely frustrating to experience this kind of back and forth, especially with a brand new vehicle of just 3,000 miles. Even more frustrating to have to wait for a second service appointment for over a month, when the problem should have been addressed the first time.     "I brought my car in for two things: an engine malfunction warning and low tire pressure. After describing the warning message to the service adviser, he said that he wasn't able to retrieve any information from the computer. This was of course frustrating. He suggested that we book an appointment for a later date, done. Now onto the really bad portion of this service visit. The service adviser inspected the tire and found a nail in it. The nail was fairly close to the side wall, but not so close that it couldn't be plugged. I should note that the car has traditional tubeless tires, not run flats. I told him that I wanted him to plug it. He told me that they would attempt to plug the tire, but if the plug didn't hold that they would have to replace the tire. I balked at this proposal and he told me that if I didn't agree to this that i would be charged for the plugging of the tire as well as the installation and replacement of tire if needed. At this point I really should have left, but out of convenience I agreed to his terms. Fast forward 30 minutes or so, the service adviser tells me that the plug didn't hold and the tire would have to be replaced. I nodded and acknowledged the situation. Another 10 minutes passes and now the mechanic that was working on the tire tells the service adviser that the plug didn't work and he would now replace the tire. All in all I really felt like I was getting worked and it was predetermined that no matter what, this tire would be replaced. There was no effort made to show me that the plug wasn't holding by submersing the tire in water. This felt like a really shady practice. Although the service group should have had especially accommodating rules for someone like me--with an overheating car only 2 years from new and under warantee--I was treated like a second class citizen, rubbing salt in the wound.     "Dropped car off on Friday AM for regular warranty service and didn't hear about status til Monday afternoon. They should have notified me on Friday afternoon. And the car wasn't ready til Tuesday. This is the second time you have kept my car for multiple days and you did the same thing last time...no call. One cannot plan under these circumstances. Furthermore, I ask the new mini department for a trade-in amount and they didn't get back to me until Tuesday as well. I was told they'd get back to me either Friday or Saturday. Anyone who is that slow doesn't seem to want to make a sale and I won't do business with them. The service team are extramely pleasant and helpful but I always have to wait. They seem to be short staffed as they are really moving the whole time. When I do call the service people they are nice but no one ever picks up the phone so I have to wait to get an answer to any questions (this is after they haven't called me to tell me what is going on with my car). As a result, if there were another dealership to take my car to for warranty, I would.     "When I booked the appointment I mentioned that I have received an offer for a $399 service. That's the ball park I was expecting to pay since the person who took the appt. felt that the coupon would be honored. The morning I arrived, I was floored to find that the total would be in the $1,400 range and that the coupon I got was not for my Mini model at all. I did get a small discount but still paid over $1,200 for the service. Why send coupons to for cars models other that the ones owned by the person receiving them? BTW, that same coupon had an offer for a carwah.     "I was happy with the service experience, until I got back into my car and realized that it wasn't cleaned after service. At previous MINI dealerships, I always returned to a freshly washed car. Also, my fluids were not topped off, something I expected. It rained this weekend and I realized it then.     "I felt like the staff at the service station wasn't that friendly. I dropped my car off at 9am and when I called at 3pm the car still hadn't been looked at. I was disappointed. Also when I told them I was coming back on a Saturday to pick up, they neglected to tell me to pick the car up at the front, since the service desk was closed.
